Opening of the Global Centre for Pluralism

The official opening of the Global Centre for Pluralism will take place on Tuesday, 16 May 2017 at 10:30am Eastern Daylight Time.
 
Founded in Ottawa, Canada by His Highness the Aga Khan in partnership with the Government of Canada, the Global Centre for Pluralism was created to advance positive responses to the challenge of living peacefully and productively together in diverse societies.
 
The ceremony will take place at the Centre's newly restored, permanent headquarters and will feature remarks by His Highness the Aga Khan, an address by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and remarks by the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage.
