Nurturing Curiosity and Global Awareness Through Social Science

Born in Kolkata, India, Jina Saha is the Lead Integrated Social Science Teacher at the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka. Before joining the Academy, she taught at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad and several schools across India. Jina is passionate about inspiring curiosity and critical thinking in her students, aligning her teaching with the mission and vision of the Aga Khan Academies. She strives to create meaningful spaces where students explore the world around them and develop a sense of global responsibility. For Jina, the students are the heart of her work – she deeply values their warmth, respect and eagerness to learn, which continually motivate her to nurture their growth as thoughtful, compassionate learners and leaders.
